What is the cost?

What is the surf like?

On the North Coast of the Dominican Republic we are blessed with an abundance of surf spots for all levels. The majority are reef breaks with only a few beach break and point break options. Our sruf sessions will be grouped by level, so if you’re a beginner you may surf in a different spot than our advanced group. Coaching will be provided for all levels, especially with photos and videos to assist progresson! From ankle high to overhead the DR has some epic surf + secret spots….

What is the yoga like?

Our daily morning yoga + meditation classes will be specifically designed as a pre-surf warm-up for the body and mind. We will practice breathing techniques, physical balance, mental focus and a little fire each day. The 2 evening restorative sessions will be for deep + guided relaxation and physical rest + recovery.

What is the food like?

The food is delicious! We will be preparing most meals en casa (in house) but will also be treated to some local restaurants and vendors. Lots of fresh fruits + veggies, incredibly nutritious and locally sourced whenever possible, with plenty of variety! Diestary restrictions + food preferences are happily accounted for!

Surf spots will be varied and plentiful along the stunning North Coast. We will have different coaching available for beginner + intermediate riders. If you’ve never surfed before or if you are looking to progress your skills in the fun Caribbean waves, this retreat is for you.

Yoga + meditation classes are also designed for all levels.

Includes 7 nights accommodation, daily yoga + surf sessions and all 3 healthy, fresh meals each day:

We are pleased to be hosting our next Yoga Teacher Training intensive at Yoga Kite Camp in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Chrissy Lefavour offers internationally recognized 200 + 300 hour training options as well as continuing education training credits with Yoga Alliance.

A day at our YTT looks something like this:

6-7 am Morning Mantra, Pranayama + Meditation *beachside*

7-8:30 am Asana Practice
